As from today onwards, Greenyard will switch over 500 company cars to full electric models. By doing so, we take an important step in reducing our own carbon footprint, a key element of our Sustainability Roadmap. Amongst other ambitious sustainability targets, we have committed to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by 2025(*) and to be carbon neutral by 2050, at the latest.
To ensure a smooth transition from the current car fleet to a full-electric fleet, we are investing in the needed infrastructure. For example, we will install car charging stations accross our locations, adding up to over 300 charging stations in the coming years.
With this significant step, we are contributing directly to the battle against climate change, which is in line with our ambition to be a frontrunner in sustainability.
It will help us achieve our purpose to improve life.
