On 10 May the awards ceremony ‘Tierra, Sol y Agua’ (earth, sun and water) took place in Almería, Spain. At this ceremony, Pepe Pérez, Managing Director of Greenyard Fresh Spain, received the recognition in name of the company for its involvement in the production of fresh fruits and vegetables for almost 40 years in the region of Almería.

During this period Greenyard Fresh Spain introduced new products like the tricolor peppers and the unique sweet bite peppers. Based on its ‘fork to field’ approach, the company focused on implementing quality standards for the growers to comply with the customers’ demands and consumers’ needs.

Food safety, as well as residue reduction programs and sustainable farming of its production in Almería, are important projects for Greenyard Fresh Spain.
